Sunnyvale: Farm-To-Table Apricots Event 6.30.2022

Location: Lakewood Park’s parking lot (it is behind the basketball and tennis courts) 834 Lakechime Dr, Sunnyvale, CA 94089

The event will start at 6.00 pm, Thursday, 06/30/2022. Please, sign up for your timeslot below.

The list will be closed at 8.30pm the day before the event. Please, make up your mind by that time so the farmer does not perform unneeded work or waste produce.

*Make sure to double-check the list after you signed up. If your name is not on the list it means you did not sign up. This usually happens when someone forgets to add a required input (like name or order-quantity).

*The Edit link in your email is to decrease/increase orders. The remove link is for removing the order entirely. Please, only click the remove link if you want to remove your order completely.

*All produce needs to be inspected at the event before leaving the event.

About the Apricots:

These are Blenheim Apricots. The apricots come from a local, family-owned apricot orchard in Gilroy.

Blenheim apricots, botanically classified as Prunus armeniaca ‘Blenheim,’ are a rare heirloom variety belonging to the Rosaceae family. They are the small, firm, and highly favored apricots.

Blenheim apricots are a very delicate, rare, old, and currently vanishing variety. They arrived in California in the 1880s. This variety will always have tiny spots and blemishes. These imperfections do not diminish the taste at all.

$37 per 10 pound bag (see the photo of the bag below). The bags contain roughly 10 pounds of produce. If you need to split, please, organize the split with other members of the group or with your friends and family.

The vendor accepts Cash and Venmo. You pay during the pickup to the vendor.

The produce will be picked the same day and delivered to us in the evening.
